Spring Break Mazatlan is a destination to considerThursday Mar 11, 2010
When you think spring break Mexico, you probably think first and foremost of Cancun. Then, maybe, you think of Acapulco. But, you should definitely consider Mazatlan.
Mazatlan is farther south than Cancun and is on the Pacific Ocean. It may not be as far south as Acapulco, but it’s definitely not the first destination to come to mind for spring break. This is part of the appeal of Mazatlan, it hasn’t been overdone by tour providers, even though you can find some that offer great all-inclusive travel deals here. So, what can you do here?
Well, you’ve have the huge party scene that you can explore and even take a party bus to travel from party to party or bar to bar. You can hang out at your hotels beach where you will find other spring breakers your age that also decided for a less beaten path for spring break. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, you have your option of tons of water sports. You could even do a little sport fishing while you’re out as well. Mazatlan has a huge German heritage so you could take advantage of maybe a city tour in the day time as well to take in some of the culture and architecture. After all, when is the next time you’ll be in Mazatlan? Take in a museum small-town-Mexico style. I did in the Bahamas and it’s definitely something different you’ll appreciate.
But, again, you’re on spring break Mazatlan, so if you just want to hang on the beach all day and party all night, you’ve got dozens of locations to meander through until you’re red in the face. So, consider spring break Mazatlan this year. You’ll be glad you did.
